Half Moon was founded by Linda Jordan to be more than just a spot where people go to practice yoga. Linda created Half Moon to provide a space for community to grow and flourish—a space that both experienced and beginner yogis can feel at home and for people to come recharge, relax and press that reset button before they go back out into the world. Most of all, Half Moon Yoga is a place for people to come together with a common goal; to live more authentically.

The Studio

What is the difference between Half Moon’s Heating System and other Hot Yoga Studios?

While most heated yoga studios use forced air to heat their rooms, Half Moon Yoga uses infrared heat. This provides a therapeutic, deep penetrating, detoxifying form of heat which expels toxins, heavy metals and pollutants from the body, providing significant benefits.

Infrared heat promotes a stronger immune system, better cardiovascular health, and speeds up the healing process in soft tissue injuries such as tears, pulls, and sprains. Infrared heat therapy is a natural way to aid aches and pains from arthritis, fibromyalgia and other health-related disorders. Providing relief to people suffering from chronic injury, illness or fatigue, infrared heat is often the first step in helping them get their life back.

Half Moon has a state of the art heating system that will constantly monitor the humidity and oxygen levels in the room.
