Berenice was originally born and raised in Delta, Colorado. She moved to Grand Junction in 2019 and found Halfmoon that same year. She quickly fell in love with the practice of yoga and the and the community that surrounded the studio. Berenice completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in the summer of 2022 and is eager to further her knowledge of the practice while sharing her understanding and passion of yoga on and off the mat. 

 

Berenice’s classes are gentile and relaxing. She encourages her students to find healing and transformation in a safe environment while still challenging them enough to push past the boundaries of their comfort zone. With an open mind and a heart of service, Berenice welcomes everyone to experience the fruits of this practice with her. 

 

Berenice is currently a student at Colorado Mesa University, where she studies computer science. Whenever she is not in the classroom or on the mat, she enjoys hiking, reading, drawing, and spending time with the people she loves.
